Overview
Formulation development is the core art and science of preparation of the dosage form. All pharmaceutical products are formulated to specific dosage forms for drugs to be effectively delivered to patients. Typical pharmaceutical dosage forms include parenteral and nonparenteral dosage forms. A variety of dosage forms require separate pharmaceutical technologies to be adopted and usually present different technical challenges for formulation development.
